And as more travelers want to escape, they want to stay connected while doing it. So Amtrak decided to upgrade the Wi-Fi solution at its rail stations. 20/20 Teknology worked with them to design a modern, reliable, and secure wireless infrastructure to provide both passengers and employees a better Wi-Fi experience. The network provides Internet access for passengers and customers visiting the train stations, as well Amtrak access to internal applications, video surveillance, digital signage, baggage services, and ticket processing for employees. We’re also providing a 24/7/365 managed service for the Wi-Fi network. This service encompasses monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, maintenance, and help-desk support for the rail station Wi-Fi network and corporate network at HQ. 20/20 Tek developed customized dashboard views for Amtrak displaying real-time network performance. Both Amtrak traffic and customer satisfaction reached all-time highs for FY18.
